PBEM Process Questions

have read the PBEM thread on the tech site and the general forum. Managed to get a game going (AACW and RUS seemed much simpler but perhaps used to them?).

So my opponent starts game and sends me HST and ORD. I load these, do my turn then Proceed to next turn. Then I do my turn and then send HST and ORD to him. Correct?

Is there a way for both of us to do our turns at the same time as RUS? Does the HST file get overwritten?

On the AI tab should activate AI be off to stop game Proceeding to next turn without file?

You have the sequence correct. Run, do your turn and sent HST and ORD.

No way to do turns at the same time unless you are face to face.

AI does not matter unless you are playing against AI.

Thanks - after 2 calls to Australia from USA and dropbox we've got it working.

I think the programmers overestimate the tech ability of their customers. I'm used to PCs so can delete files to change save game destination etc but my opponent isn't. As customers/wargamers we shouldn't have to play around with files to get the game to work, especially as the PDF is wrong! On GG WiE you log on and play (ok that game has issues but at least the MP works without any tech knowledge).
