Counter Mod

Here's a small mod I made to replace the flags on the unit counters with the roundels that the game uses in parts of the ledger. I figured we already have enough rectangles on the map; a few circles add some visual variety. Plus, the roundel for the Confederacy is the famous battle flag, which I think better fits military units anyway.

One side effect that the roundel is also used on decision markers, which I also like.

There are two versions, round and oval. The round version may be a bit crisper but the oval version fits better on the counter (doesn't impinge on the unit stat bars quite so much).

The files for both versions are attached zip file. Rename the version of your choice (by removing the _Round or _Oval suffix) and copy into the Civil War II\CW2\Graphics\Factions\Counter_OnMap folder.

I like the Oval Mod and have switched over. A bigger battle flag is good!

If I post a save that was made under this mod, others will still be able to open and use it right?

Here is a test save that I made under the Oval-mod. (Unzip to CW2-> Saves. Then go to the in-game load screen, it should appear as a Shiloh Save with the name Testbed Z.) Does it open OK for those without this mod?
