Synchronize movement

Tue Aug 18, 2015 2:20 am

Sorry for all the questions.

How do I know if a synchronized attack will work? It will show the symbol yet show them entering on different days. Cant tell if it will work. Must you start in the same region? or can a corp from the next region over be included as well?

thanks.

The forum is for questions. Several members actually like telling others what they think they know.

A synchronized attack must start from the same region. If it does, it will work. The arriving units march at the rate of the slowest unit. You know it works if you see the movement lines showing all units moving to the same region. I actually cycle back though my orders to make sure the synchronized attack is still valid.

So as you are planning movement, think of synchronized movement working with 'March to the Sound of Guns." If all units are under the same army command, the corps in the adjacent regions will join the battle, but with March to the Sound of Guns and not with synchronized movement.

These two tools are a key to doing well in CW2.

I believe 1stV is talking about the SO--the fat, black arrows.

It only works with army and corps stacks of the same army in the same region. Any stacks of the same army in the same region with the synchronize Movement SO button pressed will use the SO.

You can see that it's working--or going to work--by giving ONE of the stacks a movement order and then clicking on one of the other stacks in the same region with the SO button pressed. That stack too will have the same movement orders.

Regardless of which stack you give movement orders to, the other stack(s) in the same region with the SM-SO will get the same orders.
