Sioux Uprising

Thu Jun 25, 2015 6:35 pm

I forgot about the troop requirements for the uprising. How many am I supposed
to keep up there? So I lost 25 VP, not that great a loss, because I won that little
war.

How did I win? Little Crow is now a divisional commander for the Union and all
his warriors are now on my payroll. None of the forts fell. Yea, I know it's a
bit unrealistic to form a division like this, but I still think it's pretty cool to have
bribed them into working for me ;)

That might be due to me having randomized stats turned on. I don't
like playing with predictable generals. Or it could be designed that
way to make it tougher to get Little Crow and the usually one unit
with him. I'm sending horse artillery his way along with some regular
cavalry units to see if he can add them to his division. The rangers don't
seem to mind ;)

Can Little Crow get promoted? I would see if you can put him in charge of the Army of the Potomac.

He doesn't appear to be upgradable.

What a beautiful division to go raiding with.

They could tear the heart out of Dixie and give Forrest a run for the money.
Like arrows in the hand of a warrior are the children of one's youth.

Once my last indian unit joins him I'm headed that way.

Nice! And I also like to play with randomized generals.
Makes it more realistic as IRL they didn't know all the stats in advance for their generals or didn't know how they would perform in battle.
