Why no Server to host?

Mon Mar 16, 2015 3:37 am

Why doesn't AGEOD or Matrix set up a server so PBem can be hosted?

Other Matrix titles have this option. It would be so cool to have this available. Each player logs his orders, the server resolves the turn. Players then download the updated hst file and submit new orders. I would gladly even pay a subscription fee for such a service. Surely it can't be that hard?

Matrix games having a server are using PBEM++ system, which is IGO-UGO for 2 players max. AGEOD engine is WEGO for up to 16 players (there is a few Pride of Nations AAR with 16 players if interested).

I know how the IGO UGO system works. I did it with WITE. What I am saying is a similar setup for AGEOD WEGO system would be cool.
