Battle results

How to check how many elemnts were killed in the battle?
i am new to CWII but i have experience with other AGEOD games
what was important was to to how many elements ( battalions, kohorts, regiments - basicly the building brics of brigade) were lost in battle
Sometimes it was better to have more losses in number of people but less in number of elemnts
I wonder whether it is the same here and where to check how many sub units were lost in the battle?

For major battle results, the elements destroyed have a brown line thru them...for the quick battles/skirmishes, I don't think it shows that, though you can surmise in some cases where all men were lost that whatever was there was completely destroyed...don't know if that helps...

It is better to not have elements lost (they cost VPs and/or NM points). So try to avoid losing elements. If the unit is small enough, you can see it having a brown line. If not, then you can only see it by looking at the different rounds. For example, if the unit had 8 infantry in round 1, then 7 infantry in round 2, you know an element was destroyed. It's not very easy to see. Also, you can see the number of units with the little promotion icon next to them each round. You know that they get the icon if they destroy at least 1 element.
Remember - The beatings will continue until morale improves.
