BRS Madisonville problem

Tue Feb 11, 2014 11:04 am

I've been playing around with BRS a bit and have noticed that when Kentucky opens (or at least when the CSA opens the place) the Madisonville KY region remains restricted to movement. That is to say all of KY opens except Madisonville. As a Union player, I tend not to mind, since raiders tended to make my life terrible from there, but still.

Another slight issue is that after a long slog McDowell managed to take Richmond in early December 1861. After a nice Christmas in the former confederate capitol, the troops were much surprised to see the sudden apparition in January 1862 of Joe Wheeler's "Richmond Corps" in the region at a dig in level of 8. Apparently they had been hiding in underground caverns all December long. (I'm assuming its a scripted force that arrives in Richmond at the start of the year and the event fires even if Richmond has fallen).

I am curious if there will be an opportunity to correct these little issues (like the tool tips for financial decisions not being updated). From what I understand, the 1.03 patch has not yet been posted for folks that didn't buy BRS. Hopefully when it arrives it can clean up some if these loose ends. (Otherwise I'm windging for nothing!)

Wheeler must have been organizing an underground resistance cell :neener:

You are not winding for nothing. Even with the 1.03. released, every little thing or flaw you notice can be considered for a future patch, and will most likely be corrected.
