Leader promotion question...

Sun Oct 06, 2013 7:01 pm

Hi there I am playing the West scenario, Bragg has just won a battle and is promotable, in ACW1 when a leader is up for promotion there star at the top right the unit box phased in and out.. is this not the case in ACW2? is it a missing feature or is it WAD?

Thanks

Click on the tent, there you should see the ** to promote him. Whom did he defeat btw? ;)

Email sent with save game attached Pocus...

He beat McClernand who had half the troops Bragg had and then a much smaller force with no leader later in the turn, it was the battle with the smaller force that made him eligible for promotion, Bragg took 1200 prisoners and routed the rest of the Union troops... no doubt Grant will get some revenge

I got the mail, pulsating color on the NATO symbol is not practical with the new interface now, so this is now the name which will do that, with an appended '+' to indicate better it is a promotion.
