Support Elements (like Army HQs)

Probably a dumb question, BUT:

Do army HQs, Hospitals, etc pass down their bonuses to corps level if they are placed in the army stack? I'm assuming they do not, but wanted to confirm.

As their icon tool-tip states, they affect the stack they are in.

Also know that adding these units to corps is a decent play.
