New player - a few general questions.

Tue Apr 11, 2017 10:34 pm

Hi all,

I just purchased the game yesterday.

1) I installed the game and been running the tutorials. One thing I noticed is that in the upper left there is a box with red text in it and above this box in black text is says 'full debug'. Is this as it should be?

I am running the game via Steam, but that seems a bit odd to me. As a play tester for other titles, I am used to one usually having to do something proactively to enter into a debug mode.

2) In the game I often have it happen that there are multiple songs playing at one time. Usually one will start and then another song will start at some point while the first song is still playing. I have it turned down so it is not too noticeable - but is kind of spoils the effect the the songs are blurred together.

I will let someone else answer #2 as I always play with sound off. As to #1 - go to Options/System and then you can turn Error tracking off if you wish to disable.

If you wish, you can turn it off in the Options menu under System IIRC. It doesn't affect the way the game works, other than providing information for testing and development, like the ID# of Regions in the Region tool-tip.

Since I never have music playing I could only guess that the game starts playing a new song after x number of seconds. If the current song is still playing when the timer runs out, the next song simply starts to play over the top of the first; but I'm just guessing.

I think it is the case, that because of the lag, I had started a second copy of the game and didn't realize it. Now that I am more patient when launching the game, it have not had this problem.

Thanks,
