Okay. Point taken.

My posts don't have much history in them I know, but its not because I don't care. It is because - in this forum - I know I am completely outclassed. I have learned quite a bit about the Civil War from some of amazingly detailed posts from most of the users here. Including from the man who took offense to my joke.

I do respect the history. But I do like to joke around. Some of my jokes just suck, I know. To be insulted for trying to crack a joke is bit too far, but whatever. I'll just keep the jokes to myself from now on.

And that is the end of that for me.
