Where is the best place to buy AACW 2? (Download)

Fri Jan 30, 2015 2:46 pm

The AGEOD webstore? Please advise!

I have an old key from two years ago but I was never able to beta test at all. As such, now that I have some spare time I'd prefer to just buy a new key. Looking forward to trying out the new mechanics!

I'd email Slitherine support.

They would send you a new .exe

Otherwise youd have to pay just to get a new .exe.

It doesn't really matter, ageod is owned by Slitherine.

Either the webstore, matrix games.com, or slitherines own website.

All are valid bc you really just need to get the e-mail address of their support, Slitherine support email specifically.

They are very prompt about reactivating your download link.

Thanks for the reply! :)

My old key would have been in exchange for me beta testing, which I was unable to do, so I would prefer to pay for a new one. I guess I'll just grab it from http://www.ageod.com/products/500/details/civil.war.ii

Steam

Just as an FYI, you can get the game through steam, either by purchasing it on Matrixgames and getting a Steam key for download OR buying it directly through Steam. Please note that it you buy it directly through Steam, you will not be able to register the game as you will not be given a serial #. (I found this out the hard way)

I 'm not sure if there are any practical benefits to registering the game. Perhaps just an icon when you post?

Cheers mate I just downloaded it through the ageod webstore. Not sure what the benefit of registering it is either.
