Nice I might jump in on this one. Previously I wasn't too interested in that period but I might give it a try

I'm looking forward to this one. The AGEod engine will be a far better fit there than in TEAW.

I hope it also includes lots of the early campaigns, before the "Grande Armee". The greatest thing would be a Revolutionary France scenario before Napoleon IMHO buuut.. considering the games name... :bonk:

I think the Italian campaign would work great for an AGEOD game, though!

Unless it includes a GC comparable to CW2 (not certain how that works, given the gap in years), I'm actually a bit ambivalent about NCP2. The first one far more than adequately covered the conflict, and I don't see much improvement being brought to the title.

I started a thread discussing the potential to take NCP2 to a much grander scale and scope with a Grand Campaign...I don't see why the campaign couldn't run from 1805 to 1815..(esp. if turns were one month) just look at what they've managed to do with EAW. Here's the link:

And everybody wonders why Pocus doesn't have a lot of time to fix things in CW2. The man's got to put some butter on his bread.

Pocus just confirmed on the NCP forum that there WILL be a GRAND CAMPAIGN this time... on the gorgeous new map like EAW has... it's going to look stunning...
