BOR - Consul remaining after there terms

I just want to check if it's normal that both Consuls of Rome tend to stay in game after them being dismissed and replaced?

My present in each scenario that have Rome ( bugger) and what it does is that when Rome replace the Consuls in March, those Consuls pop up in Rome in April...
Is it normal ALA Proconsul kinda way or is it a bug?
I tend not to use them... even they were UBER gods on the battlefield

I can post a savegame if you need it, just tell me what you need and how to bring it to you.


Also on a not related point, I tend to think the NM value for Sudden Death is too high, can you tell me or at least point me in the direction so that I can change it myself?
I looked around without much success and since I'm posting here... Two birds one stone.

The consul bug affects some of the scenarios, and will be corrected in the upcoming patch.
