Smart Move interrupted game?

Hello

I have been playing AEJ on Win7 and have had this happen:
[ATTACH]24295[/ATTACH]

For some reason during the turn calculation, this 'Smart Move' feature window popped up and the AEJ screen went blank/black. I did notic taht several times before this happened, during turn calculation, the screen would temporarily go blank/black.

What is going on here?
