Cannot set resolution

Hello,

When I click on the AJE configuration shortcut (not launching the game), it gives me two tabs: one to enter a setup key, and one to select some graphics options. I can select to have the game in a window or full screen, and that works fine, but when I select a resolution the configuration menu just forgets my choice and defaults to the desktop resolution option.

That is to say, I go into configuration, select full screen, and select a resolution. Then I quit the configuration. If I re-open the configuration menu, the resolution will have defaulted back to my desktop resolution, having forgotten my choice. It does not forget my choice when I select full screen or windowed mode. When I play the game, it always runs in my desktop resolution (which is too high, I want to zoom in further).

How do I set my resolution in this game? Can I increase the zoom level at all?

Yep this is broken, you must set the Frequency to Default instead of 60 (EDIT) to the chosen resolution work (or edit Display.opt file in Settings folder).
If you want 144DPI fonts, chose the Small fonts option, and modify the Fonts120 file (make a backup before) in GameData folder with:

Still doesn't work. I turned on the hardware cursor option and double checked my display file to make sure that it was set to 1280x768, which it was, but when I started the game it still loaded up in my desktop resolution.

The only way I can get this game to run in a given resolution is to change my desktop resolution before playing. However, in 1280x768 (which is the resolution the game is designed for, right?) the tops of the game menus that come up when you press the F keys (such as F2 for recruiting replacements) are pushed off the screen.

How can I have the game load up in a resolution without having to manually change my desktop resolution every time I want to play.

You too must set your graphic driver: scaling through the GPU, and keeping the resolution ratio (black borders if any, instead of stretching).
What is the natural resolution of your monitor? (mine is 16/9 1920*1080, and I must launch AJE in 16/9 1600*900 with my 144DPI fonts).
Or maybe you just have to update your driver?

1280x768 is the resolution the game is designed for, right?

I don't think so, as this is an unusual ratio (5/3). But there are AJE wallpapers in 1280*720 (16/9).

In AGESettings: You click on fullscreen, then in the drop down you choose your resolution, then you click on change, then you quit, right?

Yes, but it is not enough. My resolution didn't change ingame yet, I had to set the Frequency to Default instead of 60 too! Something is broken. (EDITED)
