Crash in civil War -47

Sun Sep 30, 2012 6:38 pm

Hello,

My game Civil War scenario, Caesar side, crashed in -47. First time I got the message that a file was in use by my computer. Second time (with resume game) I could reorder my units, but when ending the turn the game came again with a pop-up, telling me an error occured, and telling me to send files to AGEOD.

Just in case you don't know: Have the same problem from time to time. The backup save works (at my computer at last), so you can resume your game :)

The error is caused by the HST file that is (my educated guess) empty, this comes from Windows or the AV preventing the file to be written when it has to. It happens on a few system, for mysterious reasons (never on XP). If you use the backup function, you should be ok. Sorry for the lost gaming time though :)

I can confirm about the HST file empty. I don't know if it is the cause or the consequence. I confirm also that i set my AV (Avast) to ignore costant check on all AJE folder tree but the crash happened again.
I see that as default, Avast antivirus set to ignore control on all TXT files and other "unharmful" files. Maybe switching extension to txt could help ? I don't mean switching by ourselves but in future patches :D
