Problem !

After I downloaded AJE, I tried to start the game, but received the following error message: ”D3Dx81.dll is mising”. I downloaded the file from the net and restarted the game. Then I received another error message: “Squall.dll is missing”. This file I cannot download from the internet. What is the problem? I have Windows 7, 4gt RAM, AMD Phenom 2*2555, 3.20 Ghz, 64 bit. My graphics card is ATI Radeon HD5700.

Do not download individual dll files from internet. They are a source of malware.

Go to Microsoft and install the full directx 9.0c package (even if you have a recent computer). All needed files will be installed without messing with anything.

You should either try to

Uninstall the game
Delete manually any remaining folders
Install the game again in a different drive than C: if possible

Weird, as both are definitively installed with the setup file. Can you see them in the main game directory, alongside AJE.EXE?

I download dx 9.0c from microsoft home page, run it and deleted AJE, then download AJE again install it in d:/. not working... same error.No there is no such files in main directory. game is preorder version 1.00.

Could you post a screenshot of your AJE directory ?

Did you ordered AJE on GamersGate or AgeodWebsite ?

Thx ! those files helped , there is new missing files "AgeSettings.exe is missing" message shows 2times , i clicked it then "that serial number does not have expected leght. Enter your serial number exactly as it is written on your validation card, hypens included"
