BOR or AJE-Parthian Wars?

I am about to buy either BOR or AJE-Parthian Wars. I am curious which has the most balanced scenarios? And of the two, which is your favorite and why? Thanks! PS: Already have AJE and may be my favorite AGEOD title.

PS; Just looking at the Cantabrian Wars module. It states it will only work with AJE version 1.02. Is this still true or will it work with the latest patch?

They are both excellent. Select one based upon the interest you have in the scenarios. Typically, BOR games are smaller in scope because they are the early wars; while the Parthian Wars are larger in scale. BOR is likely more interesting if you know general Roman history; while Partian Wars is a really good exploration of Antonius, Trajanus and Severus, that is, a deeper exploration of the history which is not as generally known.

My answer is to buy both, but the above thoughts would be my take if I was limited to only one.

Cantabrian Wars works with the upgrade. It should probably say, version 1.02 and later patches.

Thanks Durk! I ended up getting BOR. Turns out it was on sale. And I am sure I will get Parthian Wars not too far down the line.

Do note that you need AJE to run the Parthian Wars.
