Help needed: Extending a scenario end date?

Sun Mar 10, 2013 1:26 pm

Some questions:
1. Is it possible to extend the end date of a scenario?
2. Is it possible to extend it in an on-going game (editing the save)?
3. How will the AI react to an extended end date?

Thanks!

Most AGE games can be played past the ending date IIRC. There will probably be no events though once you pass the finish dates.
"Umbrellas will not be opened in the presence of the enemy." Duke of Wellington before the Battle of Waterloo, 1815.

"Top hats will not be worn in the Eighth Army" Field-Marshal Viscount Montgomery of Alamein K.G.

Meaning, after the end-game "result" screen, you can continue to play, although each turn you will get the same end-game screen. The AI will continue to work, but the game will tend to get less interesting - no events, etc.

You can also mod the end game dates in the scn files, but that's a bit tricky.
