Is the Cantabrian Wars scenario getting some fixes? There's something weird going on with EP and it spams about sacrificing to the gods every turn as the Cantabrians.

Hi

Can you provide the files specified here: http://www.ageod-forum.com/showthread.php?25861-How-to-report-a-bug

Or at least the contents of your "scripts" folder, in a zip format ?

thank you

I've played other scenarios after that, are they still saved somewhere?

Logs refresh each time you restart the game.
ScriptReports may still be there, but are hard to sort out....

Two questions:

1. Has all the DLC been brought up to speed to work with the current official patch? I saw comments on the boards about a week ago that seemed to imply compatibility issues with the Spartacus rebellion and Cantabrian Wars DLC, and never saw anything from an "official" source to suggest these had been corrected. Great that emails with corrections were sent out, but will a new buyer experience the post-patch features?

2. Having been away from these board for a while, I couldn't remember if patches were supposed to be applied over the older patched version or a clean install.

I'm assuming that a patch works best with a clean install. Were some of those features alluded to in section 1 by-products of non-clean installs? It would be a great help to sporadic and first-time visitors if there were a prominently displayed sticky somewhere on this website that said something to the effect that patches are happier with clean installs.

Assuming that patches need to be coupled with clean installs, this might raise an issue about how the AGEOD store works. I think (or at least hope) that I've successfully moved my downloaded AJE files onto my external hard-drive backup. For those that don't have external hard drives (or if my backup attempt proves unsuccessful), will they have to contact AGEOD for their original files every time a patch comes out that requires a clean install?

Hi Philippe.

You can apply patch 1.02 over a clean install or a 1.01 patched game, both options should be OK.

If you are going to buy now any DLC or the iminent expansion BOR, they all should now work without problems with 1.02, previous problems are corrected.

if you experience any problem, feel free to post or contact us, of course.

Regards

Am I the only who gets Caesar replaced with Caassius and a complete mix of generals and troops in both the tutorial and the campaign?
In my campaign Caesar is a Senate general ....

I included a screen shot of the Pompeius/Cassius Cesar army.

I used a the patch in french for my French version install if that does anything.

Also I installed the Spartacus patch which was mailed to me...it crashes on turn 1.
Actually I just checked and every campaign has weird unit mixes.

Units "changes" like this a usually due to wrong install with older DB not being erase (totally or partially). Also, Patch 1.02 is not compatible with older saves.

So I suggest you to reinstall AJE normally, then patch with 1.02 (only, 1.01 is useless and already included inside 1.02). That should solve most issues.

I have just retried this process myself (to double-check) and it works perfectly (and the Spartacus scenario runs fine without crashing)

PS: as a safety, re-dowload patch 1.02 once more from here, don't use your 'older' one.

Followed exactly your instructions and it works, thanks a lot.
Also I installed it in a different folder (not program files (x86)) , don't know if it helped.

While I'm here, congratulations on this successful game and your partnerships, please keep up the good work.

Love the new patch. Gameplay mechanics aside, AJE has finally stopped crashing all the time. Makes the game a whole lot more fun to play. Kudos!
