Hardest factions (against the AI)

Thu Dec 13, 2012 4:15 pm

The hardest factions according to me are Spartacus until i have not understood the scenario's tricks and the Othonians .
As OthoI had selected replacements and the later turn the moral has dropped 70 points for the replacement as written in the moral icon . I understand the logic for that but maybe it would better giving to the player more informations in advance .

You can see the cost for replacements in the tooltip when you buy them. For example, when you hover over legate replacements it first shows NM cost and then money.

For me it was as Marius in 'Marius vs. Sulla', and the Roman faction in 'The Great Mithridates War'. You would have thought that playing the Romans against Sertorius and Mithridates would have been a walk in the park, but it was anything but. In fact I would go so far as to say that Sertorius was the most dangerous faction I had to contend with in the existing scenarios.

I would also add that although I won a minor victory as Vespasian, I played hell trying to get my faction morale high enough to get Primus and the Danube legions; something that I never did accomplish.
