Any chance?

First of love the game. One of my all time favourites now.

Anyway I mentioned this over at Matrix..then remembered I'm already a member here so here goes...

The game seems to have a few sounds relating to whats happening in the battle (just been reading the forum thread here about changing the sounds). However the battle goes that quickly I doubt you hear them nor understand what they are.

I'd love it if we had an option to slow down the battle resolution and have a combat log as the battle progresses, rather than it being over in a flash then having to check the detailed AAR's..give me the option to slow the battle res down, watch the combat log with appropriate sounds I'd be very happy...

I've mentioned the game on my FB page, Tactical Wargames. I know this isn't tactical but it's too good not to mention.

Yes there is an option to slow down battle, it is in Options Window, Main menu, media tab if memory serves.

Yeah tried it, but it still goes real quick. Also I'm asking for a feature aswell..a combat log like a running commentary of the battle as it's fought. Everything I'd want to see is happening in game, i.e charges by cavalry and Legions clashing in hand to hand combat, aswell as spearmen throwing spears and bow men firing etc etc..I'd like the option to slow the battle down enough that I can watch a running commentary which really is a combat log.

1, it would add even more immersion. 2, give a good understanding about exactly what happened during the battle.

AT the moment I have to decipher the detailed AAR and try and work out who attacked who etc etc. An option for a running commentary, with relevant sound effects for whatever is happening, i.e Calvary Charge you hear charging horses etc etc.

I agree, it would be helpful. And it would also be very helpful for newcomers to understand more quickly what is going on and make it more likely they keep playing and falling in love with all the AGEOD games.
