No, the game is not yet steam approved, but listed in steam greenlight. This is a site where steam users can opt for or against a game getting published on steam (see the link in my signature). To get AJE on steam it would be very important to guide as much user as possible to the AJE steam greenlight site. Hence, my suggestion to put the link below the tutorial videos.

Yeah, I've been putting it in the recent videos. I can go back and add it to the prior ones too.

Those are nice tutorials by the way. I've been following them rather habitually. AEGOD has actually got a new sale (me) because of those videos. :)

Quick question -- is there any way to direct where the replacements go, or does the game decide this for you?

The game decides for you within parameters. (Depending on your setting replacements may only be received at a depots). Units are that are passive are higher up in the line for replacements.

Okay, I have some business in DC again, so tutorial 20 will be the last one for a week or so, I'm guessing. If you are just joining us, there are 20 tutorial videos (3 hours 30 minutes) on YouTube.

I'm tempted to watch these, though it will take a time commitment. I was wondering though. Do the videos only cover the same material as the game manual, or do they give strategy hints and tips as well? If so, this would definitely make them even more worthwhile.

Same material as in the game manual, presented in a different format, I'd say. Minimal strategy hints.

I will be getting this game soon.

Thanks for the videos.

Also, I have given my steam greenlight vote. Ageod games (for me) are the best strategy games.

Great and useful tutorials. It would be nice to have a strategy guide for the demo scenario (4 Emperors - Vespasian etc).

I do receive lots of requests for strategy guides. However, I sort of feel it's more fun for people to explore, learn, and get involved in strategy over time. Would we want a video that shows people how to win a certain scenario?

Also, PBEM, any strategy guide wouldn't work, humans would counter the strategy. Even the AI has different strategies different games.

I'm not saying I wouldn't ever do it. However, at this point, I feel like it's too early to make one.

Glad you're keeping up the series. It would have been really easy once the game was released to just sit back and play it. :)

And here is an interesting YouTube data point. People have watched from 92 different YouTube geographic points (usually a country, but not always).
