I have a strange history with AGEOD games: bought BOA, never really got into it/played it, bought BOA II, same story. Bought ACW and felt bad about not playing it. I pre-ordered AJE and ... same result. I even bought RUS on sale, well, you can imagine how that went.
Then, for whatever reason, I bought EAW (although WWI is not really my strongest interest) and played the tutorial and for whatever reason, it clicked. From there I went back to BOA II and especially AJE and I'm really enjoying it now (although there is still so much to learn). Already had some great games (all of them played out very differently) and some of the strategic options/choices really elevate the game.
So, through buying EAW, I basically activated hundreds of dormant gameplay hours that were sound asleep on my HD ...

One suggestion I have for the game is the following: I find all the messages after the end of each turn/beginning of new really hard to read/follow. It's not only that there is a lot of small text, clicking on it often doesn't proves to be difficult and the pop-ups are not always matching. Also, there is no way to "check off" read messages. I find myself often therefore only quickly scanning over them, which leads to missing important information.
My suggestion would be to (have an option to) show a larger windows instead of the small at the bottom with clear icons in front of every line to show what type of information is provided in such line (battle, economic, movement, etc.). Clicking on a line would mark it as read (for example by darkening the line). This way the information would be much easier to digest.
Other than that: Thanks for making this game and please give us more scenarios!
