


Paradox for instance have developer diaries and announcements saying what the next expansion is going to be about. This creates anticipation and interest. I understand you work with a much smaller team and that dev diaries might take away from the development effort, but if it's already in beta some things are pretty much set at this point, right?bob. wrote:Did you consider letting one of your beta testers write an AAR? In my opinion, AAR's can be one of the best selling strategies of a game like this - I think that all other "usual" marketing things for a game (trailer, short undetailed preview on some gaming site) fall a bit short because it is not really possible to tell much about the game like that. I can only speak for myself, but for example I bought Rise of Prussia and Revolution under Siege only because I read some very well-written AAR's on the Paradox forums! (And those are not the only games!)
