general supply question

I bought Alea Jacta Est a few weeks back, so still learning as I go.

In the 5th turn of the Mario v. Sulla scenario, I have Sulla's force travelling around Greece trying to conquer cities and hold off the Pontus forces. Sulla's force consumes around 180 supply points per month. All my supply wagons are empty and I have about 600 points of inherent supply left.

When I read the manual, it states that supply is pulled from friendly regions/cities/depots. All the friendly regions in northern Greece seem to produce between 25-65 supply points per turn which is barely adequate for the needs of my force, unless I am missing something?

I presume I could produce additional "impedementas", but are there other tips/tricks to keep supplied? Can you bring in supply by ships?
