How to resume an autosave?

The game crashed yesterday, and when I tried to resume it today, I accidentally chose an earlier save of the same campaign manually. So now the earlier save gets loaded if I click "continue game". The autosave just before the crash exists in the save game directory, it just isn't available within the game. How to continue it?

Can you load the correct game before it crashes?

Alternatively you can mouse over the correct game and hit 'backspace' to restore previous turn.

The problem is that in the load game screen the only available save from that game is a manual save that I made earlier, it's from 74 October, and I think I was around year 71 when it crashed. The (correct) autosave exists in the game's folder, but it doesn't appear in the load game screen. Can it be opened, maybe via renaming?

Could you post a screenshot of your Save Folder and markup wich file you want to open ?
