AJE Budgeting question

Wed Jan 16, 2013 7:41 pm

This is financial situation of Pompey's faction in one of my recent games:

I wonder why trade taxes are not displayed in Money tooltip? If I read this correctly, denarii earned from Ephesus, Antioch, Alexandria and Thessalonika are nowhere to be seen and are not included in final sum (295). Where has my denarri gone?

The 60 denarii of trade taxes are included in the "Changes from historical events" total.
You should see messages elsewhere for the other 190 you have gained this turn.
"Umbrellas will not be opened in the presence of the enemy." Duke of Wellington before the Battle of Waterloo, 1815.

"Top hats will not be worn in the Eighth Army" Field-Marshal Viscount Montgomery of Alamein K.G.

Yes, you are probably right. I thought it could be part of "Historical events" item. A turn before I sold prisoners into slavery. However, if I remembered it correctly, tooltip said I will get 200 denarii for slaves. Because of that I expected amount of 260 (200+60) denarii but got only 250. On second similar occasion everything was fine without any discrepancies in budget info tooltip. I will pay attention to this in future and will try to keep saves if a unexplainable outflow of money appears again.

Thanks for answer.
