Good stuff. Hope you'll do a review and maybe an AAR when it goes to release. Video AARs are a great way for people to get a good feeling of the game, not to mention giving tips on how to play.

Turns! Glorious turns! Nice to see, finally. And is that Mark Antony that shows up on round 2 when Caesar takes Rome?

Indeed it is. Antony appeared, with some decent stats too!

Awesome. I see that all of Italy rolled over to Caesar when he captured Rome, but how did it affect loyalty outside of Italy, say in Greece or Spain? Obviously they stayed in the Pompeian camp, but I'm interested to know how much loyalty gets swayed with the capture of objective cities.

As far as I can tell, loyalty there increased to 100% across the board.

Thank you! Now I know what happens after the first turn. So I guess the Caesarian veterans went to your camp? Also where did Pompeius and his fleet go? Does he automatically sail to Greece?
Is it possible to influence the Hispanian legions if Pompeius goes to Greece?

Spoiler Alert!

I'm not sure about the Caesarian veterans, I'd need to go back and take a look at that. Regarding Pompeius (he has to make a choice, go to Hispania and get his troops or go east and raise funds. At least that is what the red message said. I haven't seen a wait to influence the Hispanian legions........ Pompeius had a pretty good hold on Hispanian loyalty historically, so I would be surprised if taking Hispania would be easy, either way.

Ah, the tutorial vids are turning into a gameplay series. Nice.

Couple questions. Do you plan on merging any of your one star generals with legions, and I know I'm probably getting a turn or two ahead of you, but when/where do you plan on recruiting new troops?

The tutorial videos will remain tutorial focused and not become a series on so much game play. The idea we had was to promote the game to non-AGEOD users, increase the game's YouTube presence, and have a library on how to do certain parts of the game. Hopefully, the series will be a resource for new players to use to learn the game mechanics. Who knows.... Maybe I'll do a video AAR of the game later on, similar to the AACW 1863 video series. I mainly moved Caesar and Antony to setup a future tutorial.

Regarding recruiting, there are now 2 recruiting options available in F3 (reinforcements) (Gallic Auxiliaries and German Mercenaries) Replacement are available in F2 already. I'm also eager to see what the future recruitment options are..... Or units scripted in. :)

Don't forget that you can recruit new units by clicking on the eagle above the mini map at the bottom left hand side of the main screen.

You set it on Assault/feint so the general diidn't try to assault the city, to assault on the move you have to set it on assault/all out attack (or was it the assault anything feature?) if the rules haven't changed. Also the city has a fort so it's impossible unless the general has the "Assaulter" trait.
