Will the Portuguese intervention be in-game. I suppose it will, but as I just read literature on Salazar this week-end, I am especially curious :)

Wouldn't it create endless issues with the SEP RUS team ?

Mucho me temo que al amigo Narval, Leib le vas a tener que decir que el "SEP RUS team" eres tú solito y que los demás miramos? o admiramos tu trabajo

into the deep design
I've been making some events, mainly for the first months of the war, and some republican options. And after that retake the hard work with the leaders.
After studing the history of the Popular Army we can see there where 8 Armies as much around end of 1937. Atm i have designed that armies generals.
Under these armies there were 2 or more Army Corps in each, so i need leaders for that Army Corps (around 20), and of course there were Divisions, around 70 in the Republican Army, so yes, we need 70 mores leaders.
After all this time working i only have 29, some of them without pictures. We can see here the ones with pictures.

So i expect a long time to finish the work with the Republican Leaders, and after that retake the Nationalist Leaders :bonk:

No se si hay archivos militares de los dos bandos (con datos sobre los mandos, las tropas, fotos...) con las guerras civiles es siempre mas problematico.

He visto que buscas foto del colonel Jurado, y no se quien es !

mas que un mod, tu trabajo se merece un juego entero, a ver si no sera eso la novedad de AGEOD ?

Enrique Jurado Barrio. Yo solo tengo una foto, que es muy mala.
No creo que mi trabajo sea el nuevo juego de AGEOD, me habria enterado no? :mdr:

Here the solution for the leaders without picture, not bad imo. What do you think?

These were the communist controled brigades, they were late: The anarchist international brigades started 2 months before, when foreign volunteers driven by solidarity enlisted in the militia, spontaneously or asked by local anarchist federations (like french philosopher Simone Weil, august 8, going in the Durruti column), with concealed weapons and ammo in trucks (french socialist government refused to give 'ambulances' and sent the police to try to stop the solidarity).

Ive been trying to migrate to AJE. Well the game starts and run, but there are problems with the kind of options, there are no rail icon, i cant order rail movement, im not sure i can work with AJE.exe, and the games runs slower.,I could use AJE to design the regional decisisions and test them.

How is your mod set up in RUS? Did you use a separate folder for the mod?

Rail definitely works in AJE, so that shouldn't be causing you problems.

No, i put SCW files in the place of AJE files. I will try what you say.

Here's the way I'd suggest (this is also the best way to create a mod, as it won't mean that people have to do a separate install to play it):

1) - Copy the entire RUS folder from your RUS install directory to the AJE directory. When you are done, you should see a folder called AJE, a folder called RUS, and a file called ModPath.ini under this folder (along with some other stuff including the exe file)
2) - Rename the copied folder from RUS to whatever you want to call your mod, let's say SCW
3) - Copy all your modified files into this directory so that it has all your modded stuff in it
4) - Go back to the root directory and change the one line in ModPath.ini from AJE to your mod name (SCW), then boot up

That should do the trick. When you want to go back to AJE, just reopen ModPath.ini and change back to AJE

im not sure what it is about.

edit: Solved, now all the ports have dissapeared... :bonk: , well, it seems really good anyway, thanks a lot!

Think of it this way. All AGEOD games have a folder that is used to store the "game contents". So if you look under the install directory for Revolution Under Siege (usually either under "C:\Games\Revolution Under Siege" or "C:\Program Files\Revolution Under Siege"), you'll see a directory called RUS, that is that game's contents. Under the Alea Jacta Est game (usually either under "C:\Games\Alea Jacta Est" or "C:\Program Files\Alea Jacta Est") you'll see a directory call AJE that contains it's contents. The ModPath.ini file tells the game what directory to look at to pick up the game files. For Revolution Under Siege, the ModPath.ini reads RUS (telling it to look at the RUS sub-directory). For AJE, it reads AJE (telling it to look at the AJE sub-directory). So theoretically, you could copy the RUS folder under Revolution Under Siege to the Alea Jact Est directory, then change the Alea Jacta Est ModPath.ini file from AJE to RUS and play RUS within AJE. Then you could modify the RUS directory with your files for SCW, and it should be a seamless port between the two games.

From my experience, anything in RUS will play in AJE, so this should work.

And how do i do now to make Regional decisions work?
in AJE there is a statue that links to the RD, but inow i see the same that in RUS. I have to change something in the interface.

edit: solved, i have Regional decisions now. Only one issue now, there are no ports in the game? are they defined in a different way?

Glad to hear the decisions are working. Not sure what to suggest on the ports, I had no issues with them.

Are you by any chance using any custom graphics for ports? If so, maybe check and see if there's anything different in the file type?

Have you checked the MainLog file in the Log folder? Sometimes it gives indicators on issues loading image files.

Do you have no port ingame ( information on Tooltip) or no display ?

As stated by Altaris, your Mainlog could provide useful information.

You can post it or send it to me by email if you need help.

There are no anchors. The ships cannot move into cities supossed to be ports.
But he same files in the AJE folder works ok and in that game the ports are ok. Something wrong happens when copying the files.
