I have run across strange occurances with RUS' supply system repeatedly. For a long time, I thought this was simply my ignorance as to its finer workings but increasingly I have come to believe that it is bugged.
Now I have finally come across an incident that seems to prove my suspicions. The attached savefiles are from a Drang PBEM. Please look at Frunze's army at Baranavichy (south of Minsk). At this point it had been encircled and cut off from supplies for a few turns. In the first turn the depot in the city is completely empty. One turn later it has over 400 units of supply. This should have been impossible, at least if I understand the rules correctly. The only Red depot within 3 regions (Minsk) is itself completely surrounded by Germans, other depots are too far away to push supplies to Baranavichy. All railway lines in and out of the city are under German control.
I don't see how any supplies can get to the Baranavichy and local production is minimal.
More worrying than the sudden miraculous appearance of supplies is to me that I have gotten the impression more than once that some cities simply don't seem to produce any supplies in RUS. Unfortunately it is hard to provide decent proof for this since the supply consumption, production and movement isn't exactly easy to protocol.
