Yes, since:

The Semenov photo I gave in my post, is the one of General-Major Semenov serving in the Armed forces of South of Russia. He is the right WHI Semenov.

WH3 Semenov, Ataman Semenov, is a different person, he served in the Far-East. So yes, the current photo for WHI Semenov is incorrect and the one I just gave is correct.

This is an incremental update with 5 new replacements for generic images...and 1 replacement for incorrect image of Semenov (thanks Orel!) Also included are mdl updates for 3 star WHI Grichin-Almazon and 2 star WHI Bogaevsky, both were displaying as 'generic'. I plan to update Post 196 (the consolidated update) when we get a few more images. Instructional READ ME is in the ZIP. HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL!

I updated the list,,, Kikvidze and Ieremeev are generic on mdls but we have the images, sorry ... it's very hard to find and isolate these type of issues. I'm sure there are more like this.

I hope to post something soon but probably not till next week, real life stuff happening at the moment.

Here is another incremental update. Thanks again to AeonTal for the images. there are 13 images replacing Generics, also included are 2 mdl files that update 2 star Kikvidze and 1 star Ieremeev to show existing images. They were showing as generic. A read me instruction file is in the zip. Enjoy!

Thanks FENRIS... I don't know the exact number of leaders but I have 'about' 570 in the graphics folder and count around 90 or so using Generics, that means over 650 leaders. That's a lot! IMHO

Just wanted to remind people of some of Nikel's work on leaders portraits. He has done awesome versions of Czech Syrovy post #3 of the link and a far superior version of Czech Svec post #45. Alternate versions of Don Kudinov post #18 and a few more are spread out over the Thread. I am not sure if any of these are official yet. Again very good work.

This is a consolidation of all the images I have done since 'patch 106a'... it combines leader sets of many posts (from 156 to 219) but does NOT actually add anything new.

Касательно M.V. Smirnov. Высокопоставленные участники Гражданской с такими инициалами мне не известны, смею полагать, что подобных не было. Вероятно, имела место путаница, и Смирнову-участнику ГВ разработчики дали инициалы участника ВОВ, родившегося лишь в 1903 году.

Скорее всего имеется в виду комдив, один из руководителей обороны Астрахани Александр Сергеевич Смирнов.

RED M. Poluyan на самом деле - Ян Полуян. Фамилия не столь уж частая, чтобы предполагать иную персону, тем более, что однофамильцев, равных Яну Полуяну по занимаемым должностям , гарантированно не существовало.

I will translate for Syrovodka, if he does not mind.

Post 1: The photo of Remezov in the game is wrong, it is of a different Remezov(F.N. Remezov not A. K. Remezov as supposed to!). On the first photo, left to right, sit Efremov, Levandovsky and A. K. Remezov(photo of 1919-1920). On the second, left to right, Voronkov, Remezov, Vasilenko, Kvirkelia, Kirov and Mehonoshin(1919-1920).
Post 2: Syrovodka says that he could not find a high ranked Smirnov with initials M. V., those are of a WWII Smirnov, the only possible candidate for the RCW period is A.S.Smirnov.
Post 3: M. Poluyan is actually J. Poluyan or in the long form Jan Poluyan. The last name is not very common, and guaranteed that there was none equal in position to Jan Poluyan.
Post 4: It's more proper to say Kurshermat not Kurshirmat, or Sher Muhammad Bek. On the photo he is under the number 1.

yes... Thank you both for the images and also the translation. I am not exactly sure what to do with these since the names of the existing Leaders seem to be incorrect. I can make the images needed for in-game use but not exactly sure how to get the proper names to function. probably not hard maybe just a line on the MDL's can be changed

Don't know whether this may be helpful, however I noticed that E.Bosch was actually a female that never had anything to do with the military. However, her brother A.S. I would suggest using Krusser's image for E.Bosch.
