Mysterious Boleslaw

Can you tell me who is Polish general I. Boleslaw in RuS? He has a picture of Józef Piłsudski from legionary times... and his name is actually a surname. I can't find anything about such commander and I strongly doubt he ever existed.

Considering he has a photo of Piłsudski, maybe you've mixed 2 people - Józef Piłsudski, marshall of Poland, with his brother Bronisław Piłsudski (Bronisław - not Bolesław). But the latter died in 1918 IRRC and never commanded any unit (he was sentenced and sent to Sachalin for an attempt to assasinate Alexander III).

I suggest to correct this and remove mysterious Boleslaw.
