Is this why i found that it was easier in the Caucasus for the Reds ?
Taking Azov, after Novocharsk 1 or 2 turns after.
Before the Whites were simply too strong. I thought that perhaps Athena had other priorities but if Athena had problems to build, all is explained .

I believe so. MilitarY AI has remained rather good, but Construction AI was keeping unit creation stance too slow. In the rC5, Athena should have more troops and so be stronger against human opponent. As much I avoided scripting in military behaviours, I'm forced for now to use more streamlined guidance for AI in unit creation.

is it also better creating streamlined guidance for brigade composition or the types of units AI put in to brigades or corps, and forms birgades quickly. I have never truly tested GP though :)

Don't forget for the french version to correct the infobulle for the declaration of war on the Caucasus Ligue because the text is about Finland whereas i suppose it is normally about Géorgia, Azerbaïdjan and other Caucasus countries.
In my campaign i was supposed to have new diplomatical option but i still have the 3 declarations of War. Finland, Baltic States and L which is supposed to be " Ligue du Transcaucase " and as said above the Infobulle is about Finland...
Les lieux d'implantation d'usines sont toujours manquants pour la plupart...heureusement que l'infobulle fonctionne.
Last but not least it would be nice to have here a Preview of what is supposed to appear in the Diplomatic Options : Declaration of War on Poland or the Poles only are able to declare war on Russia.

I said this because i read on a Website about the Battle of Warsaw that the Poles did a Pre-emptive war because they knew about the Russian concentrations and their will to attack Poland ; exactly like Israel did in 1967.

RELEASE CANDIDATE 5 published, see FIRST POST.

Baring a major bug, and knowing games of such complexity are bound to always have little glitches or historical inaccuracies, it will be converted to official patch tomorrow.

In Tutorial 1, in Vaasa region, in Finnish Air Force stack, Fighter Sqd and Recon Sqd are swapped.
Maybe Fighter is dummy, and Recon attacks immediatly on sight?
It may be so since 1.0 R.U.S.

I'm noticing that the price for forts is 8 artillery and 6 supply. I think you had intended the reverse.

Edit: and I also notice that Tachanka units count as artillery for this purpose. This might prove to be a major exploit. I am building fortified lines across Russia even as we speak. The Red homeland will never submit to Imperialist and Black Hundred terror!

Did you fixed the armoured trains wich can't be merged in the divisions/brigade units ?

Because i still can't do it in my installation with the RC4...

no, and IMHO, it's WAD. We're yet thinking about, but it doesn't have any historical background. And it would penalize the AI which isn't programmed to do so.

so we will have to revert to the initial figures for fortifications: 10 and 10 supplies and artillery :)

So i would change their special ability, because it have no sens currently (improving infantry in its own unit).

But i would set also the armored trains to 0 CP, because they cost sometimes 4 CP if not alone. So a little railroad brigade made up with one train, and one cavalry/light infantry, or even only one supply have a huge command malus.

Finally, you could maybe also avoid an AI penalization if you put some already builded railroads brigades in the unit pool made up with normal little brigade + one armored train inside.

BTW : in the manual, it says that arty cost 0 CP but in fact it cost 1 CP. Whites can't build more than 10 elements divisions currently (because all their unit pool are single element units), so maybe if the arty could really cost 0 CP to allow them to be outside divisions, it could be good.
