A second crash game

Tue Jun 05, 2012 8:05 pm

Hello,

I play a PBEM game with 2 others players. I play Reds side.

As host, i have to calculate the turn. During it, i had a crash game few turns before, i relinstalled totally the game, with the patch_RUS_v1.05_QF5.

We played one or two turn, but now, End of august 1918, the game crash again during the turn calculation (at the end of the calculation, it's seems).

Here you can find a compress file, with the save directory and the main log :
http://www.filedropper.com/saves

short Dxdiag :
Processor: Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 CPU 3.40GHz (2 CPUs)
Memory: 2046MB RAM
Page File: 691MB used, 3247MB available

Thank you !

Did you apply patch 1.05 and THEN QF5?

Does the error repeat if you reload the game and try again?

Log indicates insufficient memory. You may need to close some apps.
Always ask yourself: "Am I part of the Solution?" If you aren't, then you are part of the Problem!

Ok thank you lodilefty.

Yes i installed the 1.05 before the Quick Fix.

No i did not try to reload the game. It's a bit difficult because the game, as you seen, created the backup directory for this turn, and i have to change all the backup numbers for cleaning my save directory. (backup 1 must be deleted, backup 2 become backup 1 etc...) I will do this.

I've seen too that the main log indicates low memory. I'm surprised. As the Dxdiag indicates i've got 2 Go Ram, and only my browser (firefox) and windows explorer ran at this time. (with, of course, antivirus, windows firewall... (background jobs...)
