Hey. There is nothing of game play displayed in the video ;)

Regarding the poster, no idea :bonk:

Workers of the world, unite! is famous but there seem to be many posters

The red star is prominent in this one, but I suppose it is not

The Strategium Alliance screenshots are alpha screenshots. We could post the same, but we will try to post art closer to the final one, as time progresses towards November. :)

Some improvements on the ledger seen in Alpha screenshots, it looks like supply and ammunition usage and cavalry, infantry units in a force. Shows active forces. Also show about when the force will be active? and the "m" sign? just curious :)

It looks like ledger will be more detailed .

Honestly, this has got to be one of my favorite game trailers I've seen this year. It makes me want to join Lenin in his crusade for a workers' paradise right now!

NKVD made sure that people found paradise sooner rather than later, so in one way it was true ;) .

Varshavianka is the ultimate revolutionary song in my book, the history of that song is fantastic to say the least.

Someone found out the answer in another forum.

It was inspired by El Lissitzky "Beat the Whites with the Red Wedge":

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/El_Lissitzky

The Communist Revolution was not just a struggle for power. Its leaders were convinced, at the beginning, that they really were inventing a new man and a new world. They draw a whole lot of artists who thougth that such a new society needed to break up with the previous art forms (those must have been, of course, "bourgeois") and that art needed to reinvent itself. It was, from an artistic point of view, a vey rich period of daring trials of new way to express ideas and slogans.

Which was in phase with one of the other main problem the Soviet leaders were facing: They where trying to explain their marxist ideas, sometimes ones that were fairly complex, to a mass of analphabetic peasants. That's why they used so many propaganda posters, and with such different and modern styles: They were trying to find a way to reach the people and communicate with them in brand new ways.

One of the inheritage of the Russian Civil War is this very rich iconography of so much different artists and styles.

As soon as the "stalinisation" of USSR begin, the avant-guardist artists were driven away and replace by the "Socialist Realism" style...

Socialist reality in films, books and art..

"One Day in the Life of Ivan Denisovich" by Solzhenitsyn about some socialist reality (but after that time frame)

"love" must be the product of "bourgeoisie" says some Marxists :) Maybe the effort much important in relationships, logical argument for a marxist thinking.

As said literature or art must be adressing the needs of a man in society. Must reflect their daily life. It must not be about dreams..

Posters, arts or other way of giving influence to people should be really hard.

What is the name of the song used in the teaser trailer? A great call to arms! Looking forward to playing this game.
