Shall we evacuate Weser?

Fri May 28, 2010 7:21 am

I got the "Shall we evacuate Weser" event (early April).
Clicking on this event gets a crash ("multiple error have occured, and the application is stalling"). I think a report is send to Ageod (a pop up asks this and I answered ÿes) but I am not sure.
This is after I saved the turn and resumed playing later. (I did run the turn, send the resulting files to my opponent, saved the game and closed it). I didnt see the event the first time around, I did see the second line of text then. Dont know if I missed it or if it didnt show the first time around.

I tried to resume the game by "resume" and by "load", but the result was the same - each time an error when I tried to click the event.

Running the turn (and accepting the default event) did go ok - this mean I have to evacuate though (Squarian, dont read the previous sentence!!).

I am unsure there was a report. Please run your turn, get a crash, and then post the save here so we can get it :D

I had a similar problem yesterday. When I opened the dialog box to evacuate Wesel, I got a message about an error and whether to send a report to Ageod. To my surprise, when I choose 'no', the dialog box appeared and I could make my choice and process the turn without further troubles.

Drat, I am to good - I always answer "yes" when asked to send a report :) .

The saves from the previous turn are included, these are the files that when loaded get me the Weser crash.

nb: this was running the 1.03beta, under 1.02 it went ok.

The other options (Danzig, and Ferdinand of Brunswick to Hannover) give the same error. Again, just choosing 'no' will let you continue.
