The first figure is a musician, i don't know why this uniform is there unless an hommage to their courage. The second is the first battalion of the Guards. 2 and 3 Guards as well as 6 Rgt Guards or Grenadier-Gardes were Grenadiers and thus a Elite Grenadier Guard is used

The 1st figure may be II/III bns of the 15th (Guard) and a musician according to the stripes on his arm, while the second figure appears to be the 4th Regiment. The I bn, 15th has silver lace, not white.

This is a portrait of Conway in 1780, so old for the SYW, the former is better because he looks younger.

Of course this is just a reminder to Pangi :D ;)

Thanks Pangi, you are a saturdays man :)

I think that found another error

A russian commander Petr Chuvalov, has a portrait called Unit_RUS_Shuvalov.png.

The name should be Shuvalov I suppose.

There were several Shuvalovs involved in the SYW

The portrait is of Alexander

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alexander_Ivanovich_Shuvalov

But he was not an artillerist, it was his brother Pyotr

The actual portrait is always better than an imposter

I've already asked to be someone else for when Conway is done. ;)

Yes, that one is right.

It is not based in the portrait posted above, probably this or another similar one

Another error apparently

French Xavier de Saxe Prince de Lusace

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Prince_Francis_Xavier_of_Saxony

Image

uses the portrait of his brother Frederick Christian, that was not a military commander?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Frederick_Christian,_Elector_of_Saxony

Image

In fact the right portrait of Xavier de Saxe Prince de Lusace has been done, but is used by Louis de Noailles
