log-files missing?

Wed Sep 01, 2010 3:51 pm

Hi

While I've been browsing through the forum in my effort to understand the depths of the game, I came upon the "battle reporter" for WiA and battle-log-files. So I switched on the error-log-mode, played a few turns (including some battles) and then quit the game, but still my log-folder (Programme/Rise of Prussia/ROP/Logs; using Windows Vista) remains empty.

So what am I doing wrong? Any help is appreciated.

Hello Jacques,

Im using Windows 7 vista. launched as Admistrator, all the logs (I didnt switch to error-log-mode) including Battle, host,ai and main log are WAD if it is what you are asking?
I installed the game on C:Rise of Prussia.

Thank you, Gray Lensman!
I'm going to search the files first. Do you have any clue how the files are called? Do they bear the same name as the corresponding save game?

Try something like this, may be different depending on your language, german?

C:\Users\YourName\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files\Rise of Prussia\ROP\Logs

AppData is hidden

Got them! Thanks a lot! There were exactly where Nikel said. :coeurs:
Now I'm busy for the next few weeks... reading. Haha, the battle-log copied into word has got some 9000 pages :mdr: I guess I need to pick out a single battle. But I find it highly interesting!
