The Prussian AI just thoroughly impressed me. I started out with a very successful drive into Saxony to rescue Rutkowski's force, Browne defeated Frederick twice (twice!) in and around Lobositz, the remaining Prussian corps withdrew to Dresden and the siege of Pirna was lifted. Then after a rather long winter quarters, the Prussians re-invaded Saxony with everything they had-Prussians-Hessens, Hanoverians, etc. etc. and now even the British. Needless to say, 1757 was a tough year- Charles and his army were trapped in Bautzen (eventually disintegrating due to lack of supplies), Daun was defeated at Lobositz and again in front of Prague; the Reichsarmee is besieged; the Russians cannot take Konigsburg (no surprise) and the Swedes, after a raid on Berlin are fast on the retreat. The only success I have had are with the French, but that is only because the Prussian armies have completely evacuated the Rhineland. The war is going badly fast, and if things keep going the way they have been I will lose outright in 1758. Great for the AI, and even greater that the AI is kicking A, but very bad for me. In the 5 grand campaign games I have played the AI has NEVER once played this well. And hear I thought after such a promising start I would go on the offensive and be in Berlin by the end of the year.
