that's two weeks tops -- on foot, mind you -- with a bunch of guys and baggage that were just defeated in battle and lumbering out of the wilderness. i'm only suggesting that a general, even encumbered w/ staff, and on horseback no lesscould find his way along more expeditiously than all that.
