Hi all,
I'm new to this forum so hope this is the right place to post this.
I'm a big AGEOD game fan (played AACW, NC, PoN and most recently RoP). I'm posting here because RoP is the latest one I'm stuck on.
Despite playing all these great AGEOD games, my secret shame is that I have never been able to figure out how to manage supplying my armies. I have a rough idea and usually get by by town-hopping or moving supply wagons back and forth to resupply a besieging army (I've also gathered that building a supply depot one region back from the siege also seems to work, usually...)
Now my problem in RoP is with the Russians. I took Koenigsberg and had to watch my Russian army melt away in a matter of 3 turns (almost none left) due to lack of supply. I assumed that by camping in Koenigsberg until the end of winter would protect my troops, I guess not. I have a supply depot built one region back and have military control over all regions east except polish regions. What is going on? I should point out that St Petersburg is besieged by Prussian troops, though after three months of winter there's hardly any left (crazy AI).
So without going into how supplying works I would like to know how I can manage this situation.
Any help would be appreciated.
