Is the Treaty of St. Petersburg simulated via event?

Wed Jun 01, 2011 6:06 pm

I have never played ROP beyond 1759 or 1760. Therefore I have never experienced the "miracle of the House Brandenburg" in the game. I am currently playing a late campaign and would really appreciate some help: Is the Treaty of St. Petersburg that ended the war between Prussia and Russia implemented in RoP?

I looked through the event files but couldn't find anything. On the other hand in the 1761 campaign Russia is no longer a party to the war.

Has anyone played a RoP campaign long enough to see Russia quit the war? If yes, how does the game handle it? What happens to Russia's troops and to the cities it occupies?

Dear moderators, I accidentally double-posted this thread. Would you please remove one of the two versions. I am sorry to have caused you extra work.

In my game (as PRU), the Russians drop out of the war for a while and then eventually join my side for a while. Although if I remember you don't get a ton of RUS troops to use. Overall, yes it is covered in the game. The big thing for PRU is that you free up one front (and after Sweden sues for peace) you get a real break in the fronts you are forced to cover.
