Hello!
Still struggling through this RoP thing.

Recently, I lost my Elbe flotte due to lack of supply. How could this be?

I loaded the 2 boat units up in magdeburg, had them row down to hamburg and drop off their loads, then finally back again to magdeburg.

So far, so good. Yet I found in succeeding turns that they were no longer in supply, and vanished a turn or two later.

can naval support be explained to me?

That seems really strange. Shouldn't the boats get supplies like normal Units do?
I ran a short test in the tutorial and found that the ships always got supplies as long as they were one "region" away from a friendly city.
