Hello everyone !
I've been exploring the game a little bit, and, as the title indicates, I'm having a hard time making use of the maps filters. I've searched the forum and I haven't found anyone one else having a problem with the colors of the map filters (apologies if I missed such a thread). So I suspect it may have something to do with my colorblindness.
It's a bit tricky to describe as I can't make you see what I see (the "problem" being with my eyes and not the game), but I think it comes from two sources:
- the colors used are not different enough for me to see them apart
-and on top of that the filters are too "transparent". When the same color is applied to differents regions, it is "altered" by how dark or light that region originally was. And it looks (for me) like different colors.
For example : I start a grand campaign in 1757 as Prussia, and I apply the "military control" filter (the first one), as in the screen below. Well in that screen, I see the regions of Lubeck, Bolenborg, and Schwerin in 3 different colors, when they are all controlled by the same power (Holy Roman Empire). And on the other hand I don't see a difference between the regions of Prussia and those of its western neighbor (I want to say Hannover ?). And it's worse with the supply filter : I hardly see a difference with or without it.
I lose the benefit of the map filters, wich is to make an information - supply, military control, etc. - visible in a glance.
I'd like to know if there is a way to change both the colors and the "transparency" of the filters, and if so, how. Thanks in advance.
Note : the screen seems to deteriorate the colors, but my problem in game remains.
