I spared Berlin?

Wed Mar 24, 2010 6:58 pm

Playing Austria, 1.01g, early Oct '56:

Get a message in events log saying "Austria accepts 150 thousand thalers to spare Berlin (historical choice)"

How did I spare Berlin - the war has just started and my troops are nowhere near Berlin. And was there an event screen I missed? What's this all about?

Looks like an event check is missing...the message correspond to one of the choices you would be offered IF/WHEN you capture Berlin ;)

Yes, unanticipated side effect of the 'default choice' code. Fixed in beta 1.02 rc2 [actually, earlier than that ;) ]
