Browne vanishes

Sun Mar 21, 2010 3:53 pm

Does anyone know why Marshall Browne vanishes from the Austrian forces in Prague in early April? I have re-run several times but invariably the seperate Bohemian Army tag vanishes; then reappears with Daun as the leader in the tag position originally occupied by his own corps, sp he is serving simulataneously as corps and army commander.

Thanks for the response PhilTib but I had checked that and in any cases the chance of poor Browne dying on the same date four times in a row were a bit much!@ As it turns out there must have been a game error because when I next tried the 'next turn' and 'save' buttons were inoperative. Alas cannot send to you cos then loaded the 'e' beta fix upon which all the saved files vanished.

No problem; lots of fun anyway and only a few turns done!

If you go back one turn, reload and the execute, you always get the exact same result! This is WAD and is essential for us to debug when you have a problem!!!!

If you want a different [maybe ;) ] result, you must go back a turn, change at least one order, stance, etc., then execute....
Always ask yourself: "Am I part of the Solution?" If you aren't, then you are part of the Problem!

Yes I know Lodilefty - that is why I apologised for not being able to send data to you. I twice restarted from September 1757!; moved Browne out of Prag; attached him to a corps etc. I am pretty sure that I had some degree of corruption when I downloaded from GamersGate. Am starting again (tis fun to do again - rare in computer games!!) using the latest beta updates as I go along. If it happens again I will first of all cry in a sad but manly fashion and then send the data to you.
