Osten force: BRU?

Sun Mar 14, 2010 4:14 pm

A force of two bdes under Osten appears at Speyer for the Austrian side in the 56-63 campaign. The component rgts include line bns labelled "BRU" with a coat of arms I don't recognize. I've never seen any replacements for this nationality, and since they appear at cadre strength, without replacements they stay at cadre strength.

What is BRU and how do I fill out the ranks?

Just a guess: Braunschweig (Brunswick)

I think it's a unit definition typo

The unit is PAL [Palatinate], with 1 Grenadier and 3 Infantry elements.

The Grenadier component in it is PAL, but the Infantry are defined as BRU [Brunswick] which also explains the command penalty seen :bonk:

Thanks for spotting this. We'll fix it....
