I have noticed some problems with major events.
I am playing as France, with a game started with RC4, and it is 1870. I am now using RC5, and I have used no mods or scripts.
Prussia has had a casus belli on Denmark for years, but these has been no war with Denmark and no war with Austria.
The Spanish Hohenzollern event appeared in January, 1870, in red, in the message box, but clicking on it only brought up a newspaper page and the name of the event, with no text to explain it, and no choices.
I ended turn, and checked various ledger pages, and learned I had a casus belli against Prussia, and had lost 20 prestige due to events.
Something is not right here, as I have had previous games were the event was explained in text, and I think there were choices, though I am not sure.
The same thing also happened with the event "The Ems Dispatch". It came up in August, 1870. It was in red in the message box, yet clicking on it merely gave you the name of the event and a newspaper page, no explanation, no choices, and, this time, no visible changes.
Has anyone else seen this?
Any help will be appreciated.
